About the Library:
The Haines Falls Free Library was founded in 1900 and has the special feature of an extensive local history collection. It is the mission of the Haines Falls Library to:

Disseminate knowledge through the offering of information and communication services, literature and history
Facilitate and promote activities designed to expand and improve the quality of library services to our patrons
Sponsor appropriate events, programs and activities to strengthen the library in advancing its stated purposes
